I often work with thoughtful, reflective adults who are interested in self-discovery and personal growth. You may be doing well on the outside while wondering if something feels missing, questioning your direction, or simply wanting to better understand who you are beneath the many roles and responsibilities you carry.
I have a particular interest in working with teachers, helping professionals, and caregivers—people who spend much of their lives supporting others and may find it difficult to make space for themselves.
You don’t need to be in crisis to come to therapy. Sometimes, curiosity is reason enough..

I work with adults experiencing burnout, stress, overwhelm, life transitions, relationship challenges, and other mental health concerns. I also have experience supporting professionals who are carrying the demands of their work while trying to make space for their own well-being.
Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, navigating a significant transition, struggling in a relationship, or simply know that something needs to change, therapy can offer perspective, support, and a place to figure out what comes next.

I believe meaningful change begins with feeling genuinely understood.
My approach to psychotherapy is compassionate, thoughtful, and evidence-based. I’ll meet you with curiosity rather than assumptions, creating space to slow things down and explore what’s really happening beneath the surface.

My approach to psychotherapy is compassionate, thoughtful, and evidence-based. I’ll meet you with curiosity rather than assumptions, creating space to slow things down and explore what’s really happening beneath the surface.
Together, we’ll look at the thoughts, beliefs, emotions, relationships, and experiences that may be influencing how you move through the world. We’ll work collaboratively to make sense of what you’re experiencing, consider different perspectives, and identify what feels meaningful and possible for you.
You bring your own knowledge of yourself and your life. I bring my experience, clinical knowledge, curiosity, and perspective. Together, we’ll figure out where to go from here.

I’m Jill Archer, a Registered Social Worker with more than 15 years of experience working alongside people through some of life’s most complicated moments.
Over the years, I’ve come to believe that therapy isn’t only about getting through a crisis or making a difficult feeling go away. Sometimes, it’s about becoming curious about yourself—understanding the patterns you’ve developed, the ways you learned to navigate relationships and the world around you, and the parts of yourself that may have been shaped by experiences you didn’t choose.
I love that kind of work.
My approach to therapy is thoughtful, compassionate, and genuinely curious. I want to understand not only what is happening in your life right now, but also why. Together, we can slow things down, make sense of what you're experiencing, and explore the patterns, beliefs, relationships, and experiences that may be influencing how you move through the world.
Maybe you’re struggling with anxiety, relationships, parenting, work, life transitions, or simply feeling unlike yourself. Maybe something happened that you can’t quite make sense of. Or maybe things look fine from the outside, but you know there’s something you want to understand or change.
Therapy can be a place to explore all of that without judgment.
My professional background includes mental health, addictions, education, leadership, and clinical practice. I have worked with people in hospital, community, educational, and private-practice settings, and I have spent many years teaching and supporting other helping professionals. These experiences have given me a broad perspective on the many factors that shape our lives—and a deep respect for how complex change can be.
At the same time, I believe good therapy is about much more than professional expertise. It is about the relationship we build together.
I’ll bring experience, curiosity, honesty, and compassion to our work. You bring your own knowledge of yourself and your life. We’ll work together to understand what is happening, identify what matters to you, and find a way forward that feels meaningful and authentic to you.
You don't have to become a different person.
Sometimes, therapy is about finally having the space to understand the person you've been all along.
